Object/Art Handler – Contract Position
DT Heritage, a leading heritage digitization company, is seeking a short-term (3-4 month) opportunity to work with DT Heritage and our clients on one-of-a-kind cultural heritage materials. This role will be primarily responsible for handling photographs as part of a large-scale digitization project. In this position, you will have the chance to learn about historical photographic processes, archival materials handling, and cutting edge instant-capture digitization techniques. Students who are pursuing cultural heritage careers and are looking for experience in a real-world cultural collections environment are encouraged to apply.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle and transport fragile archival materials

Graphic Designer
At Digital Transitions, we see graphic design storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We’re looking for a full time talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both electronic and print media. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and WordPress, and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. Head of Digitization Operations (HDO) for DT Heritage
Over the past two years we have seen significant growth in our Film Scanning and Artificial Intelligence offerings, and will be starting several large-scale digitization jobs in the near future. We are seeking an experienced manager to be our new Head of Digitization Operations (HDO) to smoothly manage our business through our next and future phases of growth.
The HDO will be backed by a strong team both within DT Heritage and from Digital Transitions, but is ultimately responsible for all digitization operations.
Operations responsibilities include:
- Production Oversight – In coordination with the Project Managers, the HDO will oversee all ongoing digitization projects for both locations.
- Process Management – In coordination with the Product Manager and R+D, the HDO will ensure processes and procedures are codified in SOPs that are followed company wide.
- Scheduling & Forecasting – In coordination with the sales team and project managers the HDO will maintain a unified projection of project timelines and resource needs. The HDO will assign projects, allocating the appropriate Project Managers, Capture Technicians, and physical resources.
- Talent Development – When HDO forecasts the need for additional staff, they will be responsible for that hiring process. In coordination with HR, Support Team, and R+D departments, the HDO will ensure new staff are properly onboarded, and existing staff are given the opportunity to grow their skillset, including annual performance reviews.
- Facilities Management – In coordination with Ownership the HDO will assess and implement required upgrades to the physical environment and equipment inventory of the division. In coordination with the Project Managers the HDO will ensure the facilities maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment that matches the prestige and professionalism of the clients we serve.
- Travel – Some digitization is performed on location at clients domestic and foreign. Estimated travel days per year: 10 to 20.

Qualifications and Experience
- Previous exposure to and knowledge of working within museums, libraries, and archives required. Experience with natural history collections preferred.
- Knowledge of Mac operating systems and associated software and hardware.
- Highly organized, self-motivated with ability to work both supervised and unsupervised.
- Great communication skills and ability to work with others.

Digitization Solutions Specialist (Technical)
Job Description
As the Digitization Solutions Specialist (Technical) for Digital Transitions, you will be responsible for offering professional one-on-one technical consultation to our clients during the sales process and installation and training services post-sale for imaging solutions within the heritage market. This position focuses on utilizing Digital Transitions’ hardware and software products to provide creative workflow solutions based on the clients’ needs. The additional responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, equipment testing, email and phone support, and technical sales support.
This position is public-facing. We are looking for someone who can think critically and can communicate technical photographic information to various stakeholders who have different knowledge levels. We are looking for a team-oriented person willing to grow with the department and our company.
