The artificial intelligence revolution is powered by one essential fuel: high-quality, consistent data. Our systems are engineered to create these AI-grade digital assets by capturing reality with uncompromising detail. The foundation is our 150-megapixel resolution, a capability that offers immense flexibility. It allows for imaging a large specimen at a microscopic level (e.g. 2-micron feature size), or simultaneously capturing a vast number of samples at more typical resolutions, dramatically increasing throughput without sacrificing quality. This power to acquire high-quality data at scale is the critical first step in building a successful AI model.

For an AI model to be unbiased and reliable, its training data must be flawlessly consistent and scientifically accurate. We achieve this by integrating industrial-grade shutters, apertures, and lighting designed for extreme stability over millions of captures. Beyond consistency, our data is scientifically valid. We deliver 16-bit tone/color precision with a NIST-traceable color response, calibrated using durable, scientific-grade reference targets. For deeper analysis, we can deploy up to 21 spectral bands featuring shared-point-of-origin lighting and perfect image registration, ensuring every data point across all channels is precisely correlated.

Our solutions are so meticulously calibrated that they function as digital twins of each other, no matter where they are in the world. This ensures that data captured on a system in Texas is verifiably interchangeable with data from a facility in the Middle East, creating a single, cohesive, and reliable dataset for global-scale analysis. By eliminating geographic and operator variance, we empower organizations to build harmonized data ecosystems and collaborate with absolute confidence. Moreover, by ensuring imaging homogeneity we avoid introducing systemic biases in the corpus that AI models may pick up on rather than actual trends in the data.

  • Custom Hardware – Designed a version of the DT Element with a large glass platen on gas springs

  • Film & Photographic Heritage – Created a custom XY film scanning stage with a unique stitching algorithm to digitize early color processes (Finlay and Dufay) for National Geographic Society

  • Art Authentication – Conducted a multimodal investigation of a painting attributed to Vincent van Gogh, including canvas weave analysis, multispectral imaging, Z-stack focus, and RTI

  • Large-Format Film Scanning – Developed a custom XY stage capable of handling up to 11×14 film and glass plates for the Library of Congress
