Event Details

Join us during an Open House in Estonia at the Film Archives of the National Archives Estonia on April 4, 2022 from 3:30-6:30 PM to learn about our project with the Estonian National Archives and explore our equipment.

The service division of Digital Transitions, DT Heritage, was selected for an international digitization project by The National Archive of Estonia, in which we will digitize a collection of approximately 100,000 pieces of film and glass plate transmissive materials. The collection was amassed from several collections and cultural heritage institutions around Estonia and we will be imaging the location at two different sites within the country, producing high-quality, preservation-grade, FADGI 4 star images.

At this event, you will be able to see live digitization using the DT Atom equipped with the DT

Film Scanning Kit. Collections of all sizes (personal, small business, corporate, libraries, archives, newspapers and museums) are more valuable when digitized for all the world to see. Come learn how you can digitize your transmissive, reflective, and 3-D collections at the highest FADGI-4-Star quality.

Upon registering for the Open House, you will receive a code to download our Film Scanning Guide for free. Sign up today to attend and receive your complimentary guide. Digitizing transmissive materials at the highest possible quality can be an intimidating task, so we built this resource to guide you through it. Whether you’re aiming to meet image quality standards or just looking to get the most detail out of your personal collection, we can help.
